The Bible tells us that God made us for Himself, and our hearts are wired to know and to worship Him.
Therefore, our hearts are restless until we find our rest in God.
Gospel Light Christian Church exists to help you find a relationship with God. We want to lead you into a life-changing relationship with Jesus!

we aim not just for information, but transformation. A real relationship with Jesus changes lives.

we can't change your life. But Jesus can. And it is our duty and privilege to lead you to Jesus.

the Great Commission is unto the end of the age. The church envisions generations of disciple-makers being raised for the Kingdom.

God’s will is for every person to Know Christ, Grow in Christ & Go for Christ. This is what it means to be in a “life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.”

Know Christ
Knowing Christ is the first step to being in a relationship with Him; it concerns our salvation.
God wants you to be saved from your sins— so much so that He gave His only Son to die in your place and bear the penalty for your sins!
Knowing Christ is not just hearing of Christ. It means to repent and believe in Him personally.

Growing in Christ concerns our sanctification.
Christianity is not just about ‘getting a ticket to heaven’; a genuine follower of Jesus will constantly grow in Jesus.
God’s will is that we keep growing in our relationship with Him, and that we do so as a community.

Going for Christ concerns our service to Him.
A true follower of Christ wants to serve God and be fruitful for His glory— not because we can repay His grace and mercy to us, but because we have been changed from the inside out and desire to be part of His great work on Earth. God is calling His children to higher ground today.

Here are some areas where you can take a step of faith and Go for Christ:
1984
A handful of people gather at the Battery Road branch of Shenton Medical Group for weekly bible studies conducted by Dr Paul Choo.
1987
First church service is held at Hilton Hotel. (17 registered members and 30 people present.)
1989
Church services move to the Penthouse at Tong Building Orchard Rd and subsequently to Shenton Medical Group’s International Plaza venue.
1990
(RELC) Regional English Language Centre becomes the church worship service venue for 7 years. (50 plus registered members, 150 pax attending worship service)
1998
The Church opens it’s first building at 360 Dunearn Rd on Apr 1998. (100 registered members, 200 pax attending worship service. The first Chinese worship service is held.
2002
The Church continues to grow and expands from two to three worship services. (200 registered members and 400 pax in attendance.
2003
As attendance continues to grow the church moves to Singapore Chinese Girl’s School. The school becomes the worship venue for the next 7 years.
2006
Deacon Jason Lim appointed to be trained to take over as Senior Pastor. Brother Seethor Chee Keen Appointed to take over Chinese Ministry.
2011
Church continues to grow and changes worship venues three times over the next 4years. Operation Zion is started, the church’s first foray into community engagement.
2013
Gospel Light Christian Church successfully bids for a plot of land in Punggol.
2014
Perimeter Church begins mentoring Gospel Light for two years in “Intentional Disciple-Making”. This births a transformational disciple making movement in the church.
2016
The church officially opens at 39 Punggol Field Walk.
