The Christian journey is personal, but not private. We need one another in our journey with Jesus. At Gospel Light, we want to help you get connected to the encouragement, love, care, and support of the church family through our Care Groups. Made up of men and women from different generations of life, these groups meet regularly for fellowship, prayer, accountability, and study of the word.

Children Ministry (Sonshine Club)

The Sonshine Club

is Gospel Light's Children's Ministry

Sonshine CLUB aims to lead children into a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

As a ministry, we have four guiding principles. Firstly, it is to share the gospel with children. Secondly, we must build relationship with children. Thirdly, this is a ministry is all about children. Last but not least, is discipleship which is the spiritual formation of our children towards Christ-likeness in partnership with the parents.

Parents are God's primary means to disciple children.

The Sonshine club children's ministry's hope is to partner with families in their pursuit of this mission, coming alongside families in nuturing the next generation to be followers of Jesus. We do so by creating fun lessons, engaging curriculum, and helpful resources that center on the gospel of Jesus Christ

Our young people are navigating through a demanding phase of life as students. They need spiritual leadership and intentional community to shape their identity. So they understand that grades and peer acceptance don't define who they are, but only an authentic relationship with God matters.

Youth need guidance and support

as they navigate the most challenging phase of their development. They are in a search for their identity, and they need spiritual leaders to help shape that journey.

Parents are called to disciple

their children in the way of the Lord, and youth leaders don't take over that role, but we work alongside, supporting them during this formative stage.

Youth need a gospel-centered community

that will spur them onward in their walk with the Lord. They need a community that will love them unconditionally, be patient with when they fall behind in their walk, correct them when they sin and rebuke them with truth and grace when they stray.

Varsity exists for NS Men and University Students.

We provide rich community for young adults at this life stage. We're excited to do life together because we know this is essential to grow and flourish in the Christian life. If you're a young adult 25yrs and below you're most welcome to join us! We're excited to help you grow in your relationship with God and service to others.
